DriveBC says Highway 33 is now open in both directions between Forks Road and Philpott Road following a multi-vehicle incident Saturday morning east of Kelowna.
Motorists should watch for crews as clean-up efforts continue in the area.

DriveBC said Highway 33 east of Kelowna was still closed as of 10 a.m. Saturday due to a multi-vehicle crash between Three Forks and Philpott Roads.

RCMP have closed Highway 33 east of Kelowna as they investigate a motor vehicle incident involving multiple vehicles.
Police were called to the scene around 1 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, between Peregrine Road and Philpot Road in Kelowna.
“Due to the severity of this collision and the ongoing investigation, the RCMP are advising that Highway 33 has been closed in both directions until this part of the investigation has been concluded,” Const. Mike Della Paolera said at 6:40 a.m.
“If you must travel between Kelowna and the community of Rock Creek, please use highway 97 and travel through Osoyoos, until further notice,” the constable added.
