A man in Kelowna says he was stunned when he found out about taking home a lottery prize.
Roderick Reid won $160,189 after matching five numbers in the Jan. 27 Lotto 6/49 draw.
Reid told the B.C. Lottery Corporation he was in his hot tub drinking a cup of coffee when he checked the numbers of the ticket he purchased online and learned he had won.
“I was completely flabbergasted,” he tod BCLC, adding he was “grateful, excited and overwhelmed.”
The Kelowna resident has some plans for the winnings, including renovating his home and taking a trip to Hawaii.
