RCMP seek tips on person of interest in parrot theft
RCMP are asking the public to help identify a possible suspect in the theft of a parrot.
Police say Critters Pet Store in Salmon Arm reported a theft of a Sun Conure parrot on Tuesday, March 19, which the staff say occurred around 11:30 a.m.
Sun Conure parrot (photo courtesy of be.chewy.com)“Police have identified a person of interest and are seeking public assistance in identifying the man so police may speak with him,” Const. Andrew Hodges of Salmon Arm RCMP said
Hodges said the person of interest (POI) is described as an adult male, of average height and weight, short brown hair, wearing blue jeans, and a distinct purple hoodie with embroidered purple ‘Lakers’ text on the front, with a backpack and headphones.
