Man facing charges in bus driver assault

A 29-year-old man is facing charges after an alleged assault on a bus driver in Kelowna.
RCMP were called to the Queensway Bus Loop around 4:30 p.m. March 28 where a BC Transit driver had allegedly been assaulted by a man.
The driver suffered minor injuries.
“Officers with the Kelowna RCMP Community Safety Unit attended the location and arrested 29-year-old Kelowna resident, Dustin Webber. The BC Prosecution Service has approved a charge of assault in this matter,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy.
The suspect remains in custody at this time.
