Suspect arrested after breaking into occupied home

A man is facing potential charges after breaking into a West Kelowna home.
Just after midnight on Tuesday, RCMP were called to a home in the 2800-block of Lower Glen Rosa Road.
“Residents of the house, who were home at the time, heard a voice and discovered an unknown man inside the house. The man left the residence when confronted but was located by police a short distance away and arrested,” said RCMP Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy.
No one was injured in the incident.
The 34-year-old West Kelowna man faces potential criminal charges. He has since been released on numerous strict conditions, with a future court date. The matter will been referred to BC Prosecution Services for charge assessment.
