UPDATE: RCMP locate two dogs that were reported as stolen
Kelowna RCMP have located the two dogs a local woman reported were stolen.
The dogs were taken from a residence in the 500-block of Yates Road overnight between May 16th and 17th, 2020.
“Cala and Missy have been reunited with their owner who is delighted to have them back,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy of the Kelowna RCMP. “We would like to thank all the members of the public who stepped forward and made this reunion possible.”
No charges have been laid at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers are investigating after a Kelowna woman reported her two dogs were stolen.
The dogs were taken from a residence in the 500-block of Yates Road overnight between May 16 and 17.
The first dog is described as:
-female
-pitbull cross
-3-years old
-60 lbs
-brown, beige and white
-responds to the name “Cala”
The second dog is described as:
-female
-Chihuahua
-7-years old
-5 lbs
-brown
-amputated left front paw
-responds to the name “Missy”
