Bernard Closed, Expand Those Patios!

Kelowna city council has voted in favour of the Expanded Patio Program!
Beginning June 29th, Bernard Avenue will be completely closed to vehicle traffic, west from St. Paul Street, around the Sails, to Lawrence Ave, until September 8th.
According to the council’s meeting minutes from May 25, “…it is anticipated that interest in this opportunity will be largely focused on food and beverage
providers, retail stores are also encouraged to participate.”
The north-south streets along Bernard will still be open to traffic, so each block on Bernard will be barricaded.
