Art Gallery reopens
The Kelowna Art Gallery has reopened to the public.
All four exhibition spaces are once again open and available for visitors to explore. To celebrate, the Gallery is also offering free admission to everyone for the entire month of June.
“I am delighted that our professional team worked together to reopen the Kelowna Art Gallery to the public as quickly and as safely as possible,” said Nataley Nagy, Executive Director at the Gallery. “During these trying times, we know that art and creativity are a welcome respite for all of our residents.”
Visitors may notice a few differences during their visit. As many may have grown accustomed to, there are additional wayfinding and directional signage on site, as well as reduced capacities in the spaces to ensure physical distancing.
The Gallery has also instituted a few changes to their hours of operation. The Gallery is open Tuesday and Thursdays, from 10 am to 8 pm; and Wednesday and Fridays, from 10 am to 5 pm. The first hour, 10 am to 11 am, has been set aside for guests in their senior years and for those who may have health concerns.
