Property, money and drugs seized in warrant
An investigation into drug trafficking has resulted in RCMP seizing drugs, money, and property after executing a search warrant at a residence in Kelowna.
The warrant was served on June 3 by members of the RCMP Target Team at a property in the 1000-block of KLO Road.
“In May of this year, Target Team officers initiated an investigation into drug trafficking involving various vehicles,” said Cpl. Guillaume Tanguay of the Kelowna RCMP Target Team. “The investigation led to a warrant at this residence. During the search, police seized a quantity of suspected illicit drugs, including Fentanyl, cocaine and crack cocaine. An amount of cash, and two vehicles, included a luxury car, were also seized.”
One person was taken into custody at the residence and later released.
It will be up to the Public Prosecution Service of Canada to determine if, and what, charges could be laid.
