Arguably one of the most popular Canadian songs of all time, it was 35 years ago today, June 17, 1985, Bryan Adams’ introduced the world to the place he purchased his first ‘real’ six-string guitar (at the five and dime), and how he proceeded to play it until his fingers started bleeding, reminding us that it was the summer of 1969.
I often wonder, had Jimmy stayed in the high school band, and if Joey never-married, or married someone more supportive of his musical passion, would they have gotten far?
