Dozen new cases of COVID-19 in B.C., one more in Interior Health

The province is reporting 12 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, including one more case in Interior Health.
In a news release, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says the 12 new cases bring the provincial total to 2,916, distributed across B.C. as follows:
- 981 (Vancouver Coastal)
- 1,538 (Fraser Health)
- 131 (Island Health)
- 201 (Interior Health)
- 65 (Northern Health)
There are no new outbreaks in B.C., and no new deaths, meaning the provincial death toll remains at 174.
As of Tuesday, there are 152 active cases of the virus in the province, including 18 people who are hospitalized and four in intensive care.
A total of 2,590 people are considered fully recovered, or 89 per cent of all those who have had COVID-19.
