Man found dead in RV

Police and the Coroner’s Service are investigating the sudden death of an Okanagan man found in an RV.

RCMP were called on Tuesday morning (July 7) to check on the wellbeing of a man in a motor home in the 2300-block of Bering Road in West Kelowna, and officers found the man deceased in the vehicle.

“At this time, criminality is not suspected in the man’s death,” said RCMP Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy, media relations officer for the Kelowna Regional Detachment.

The deceased man has been identified as a West Kelowna resident in his 60’s.

The B.C. Coroners Service is investigating the circumstances around the death.

No other information is being released at this time.
