Ridesharing company Uber says that after six months of operations in B.C, it’s planning to expand beyond Greater Vancouver.
Uber says it has submitted an application to the Passenger Transportation Board that would allow it to operate in all regions of the province.
It says it plans to launch in Kelowna and Victoria by the end of this year pending board approval.
The company says it has also extended a “No mask, no ride,” policy indefinitely, meaning both drivers and passengers must wear a mask or face covering.
