Greens ready for election in Okanagan

The B.C. Green party has filed-out its candidate list for the Okanagan ridings.
Owen Madden has been nominated in the Shuswap, John Janmaat in Kelowna-Lake Country, Amanda Poon in Kelowna-Mission, Peter Truch in Kelowna-West and Ted Schumaker in Penticton.
The party earlier announced Keli Westgate will be their candidate in Vernon-Monashee for the second straight election.
The deadline for B.C election candidates is Friday (Oct. 2) at 1 p.m.
