A driver and employees of West Kelowna business were able to walk away uninjured after a vehicle hit a building.
RCMP say at around 10:50 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 12), they were called to a business in the 3600-block of Carrington Road after a Ford Escape collided with the building.
“It’s extremely fortunate that no one was injured as a result of this collision,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy, spokesperson for the Kelowna RCMP. “Staff were working in the building, but were not struck. They were able to assist the elderly female driver until emergency crews arrived.”
The cause of the collision is still under investigation, but driver error is believed to have been a factor.
No charges have been laid at this time.
