Bear spraying incident in downtown building

A Kelowna building is being aired out after someone dispersed bear spray inside.
RCMP were called to a building in the 700-block of Bernard Avenue just after 9:00 a.m.Thursday (Nov. 19) after it was reported that an unknown person had used bear spray for reasons not known.
“Frontline officers immediately attended along with the Kelowna Fire Department and BC Emergency Health Services. No immediate victims were located on scene and the building is now being aired out,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy.
The incident is under investigation.
