Man arrested after allegedly breaking into store

A man was arrested after he was allegedly located unlawfully inside a downtown Kelowna store.
On Saturday (Nov. 28) at 4:40 a.m., RCMP received a report of a commercial alarm at a business in the 400-block of Bernard Avenue.
“Frontline officers immediately responded, located and arrested a man inside the store without incident,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy, spokesperson for the detachment.
A 41-year-old Kelowna man has since been released from custody on conditions for a future court date. The matter will be forwarded to the BC Prosecution Service for review.
No further information is being released at this time.
