Rash of catalytic converter thefts
You might want to keep a close eye on your car’s catalytic converter after three of those devices were stolen over the last nine days in Kelowna.
All three thefts were in the same area of Graham Street between Jan 6 and 14.
On January 6, RCMP received a report that overnight, an unknown person had stolen a sensor and a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the 1400-block of Graham Street in Kelowna.
On January 13, RCMP received a second report of a catalytic converter being stolen from another vehicle parked in the 1400-block of Graham Street overnight.
On January 14, a third report of a catalytic converter theft from a third vehicle parked in the 1400-block of Graham Street, ws received.
“These investigations are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone with knowledge of these crimes to please come forward,” Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy of the Kelowna RCMP said. “We would also like to remind everyone to call us immediately if you see any suspicious activity.”
