Suspects located after break in at recreation centre

Two men were arrested after allegedly breaking into a recreation centre in Kelowna.
RCMP responded to an alarm at a recreation centre in the 900-block of McCurdy Road this morning (Jan. 21) at 3:30 a.m. Officers confirmed there had been a break and enter, and began to patrol the area, locating two suspects a short time later.
“A 38-year old Kelowna man and a 50-year-old Kelowna man have been arrested in regards to this incident. They have since been released from custody on conditions for a future court date, while the investigation continues,” Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy, stated.
The police investigation will be forwarded to the BC Prosecution Service for review and charge assessment.
