More cases from Big White COVID-19 cluster
There are 11 more COVID-19 cases linked to a cluster at Big White, for a total of 214, with 45 of the cases active.
Of the 11 new cases, seven reside and/or work at the Kelowna area ski resort.
Of the 214 cases linked to the cluster, 137 have resided and/or worked on Big White Mountain.
“Everyone in the Big White community is reminded to avoid social gatherings. Please follow public health guidance such as physical distancing, washing your hands regularly and wearing a mask,” a news release from Interior Health (IH) stated.
IH said the risk remains low for families and individuals visiting Big White who follow public health guidance to stay in your immediate household bubble and avoid socializing and gatherings.
