Meth, cocaine and fentanyl seized in trafficking probe
RCMP in Kelowna have been busy with drug trafficking investigations.
The Community Safety Unit served a search warrant on a residence in the 300-block of Mallach Road in Kelowna.
“During the search of the residence, police seized quantities of suspected methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and fentanyl,” Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy of the Kelowna RCMP stated. “During the search, two men who were residents at the house were found to have outstanding B.C. wide warrants of arrest on unrelated matters. They were taken into custody without issue.”
No charges have been laid at this time, but the investigation is ongoing. Once its completed, it will be forwarded to the B.C. Prosecution Service for charge approval.
Another search warrant was executed last week for an unrelated drug trafficking probe into a home on Prior Road South in Kelowna.
