UPDATE: Police investigating hit and run on highway

RCMP are seeking witnesses to the alleged hit and run collision on Highway 33 near Trapping Creek Forest Service Road Tuesday afternoon.
Police are still looking for the driver of the white 2020 Land Rover that hit a pickup which ended up in a ditch, injuring the driver and passenger.
Midway RCMP are asking anyone who was driving in the area at the time, and has dashcam footage, or witnessed the driver of the Land Rover, to contact them.

RCMP in Kelowna are still searching for a suspect after a vehicle allegedly hit a pickup truck along Highway 33 and fled the scene.
On Wednesday (Mar. 24) just before 11:30 a.m., RCMP received a call from a motorist of an erratic driver travelling northbound on Highway 33 between Beaverdell and Kelowna. A short time later, the suspect vehicle allegedly collided with the vehicle of the caller, forcing it off the road, before fleeing the scene.
“At this time, the extent and nature of the injuries to the driver and passenger of the vehicle forced off the road is unknown,” Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy stated.
RCMP closed Highway 33 near Trapping Creek Forest Service Road while the collision scene was investigated.
RCMP have since located the suspect vehicle, but are still searching for the suspect.
