Kelowna RCMP says that Shayla, the black and grey Havanese dog reported stolen on April 3, 2021, has been located safe and sound.
Police are thanking media and public for their assistance.

April 6 story: Dog allegedly stolen outside Kelowna business
RCMP in Kelowna are looking for a pair of alleged puppy thieves.
On Saturday April 3, at around 7:00 p.m., a man was picking up food from a restaurant in the 1500-block of Banks Road in Kelowna. The man had a small dog with him that he tied up to a tree outside the front of the business while he stepped inside. When the man came back outside, the dog was gone.
Witnesses reported that two, yet to be identified, women in a black passenger car had stopped and allegedly stolen the dog.
The dog, who answers to the name “Shayla,” is described as an 8-pound, black and grey Havanese.
