Snow expected on mountain passes

A special weather statement has been issued for some mountain highway passes in southern B.C.
Environment Canada says a cold front will move across the region tonight through Tuesday bringing precipitation.
‘As snow levels drop to around 1000 metres overnight, higher elevations of Coquihalla Highway – Hope to Merritt and Highway 3 – Hope to Princeton will receive snow. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 cm can be expected by Tuesday evening,” the statement from Environment Canada said
