COVID-19 cases in B.C. down again
COVID-19 case numbers dropped for a fifth straight day in British Columbia.
The province reported 250 new cases Wednesday, the lowest number since late October.
As for the health regions, 40 cases were in Interior Health, 84 n Vancouver Coastal Health, 109 in Fraser Health, nine in Island Health and eight in Northern Health.
There are 3,580 active cases in the province, with 296 people hospitalized and 97 in intensive care.
There have been three new COVID-19 related deaths, raising the total to 1,683.
To date, 2,979,951 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have gone into the arms of adults 18 and over in B.C., 152,010 of which are second doses.

· Spring Valley long-term care in Kelowna has 48 cases: 36 residents, 12 staff/other, with 10 deaths connected to the outbreak.
