No blip in new COVID cases in B.C.
Interior Health is reporting 13 new COVID-19 cases, part of the 33 reported by the province on Tuesday.
That comes after 30 new infections were announced on Monday.
There are 639 active cases in the province with 66 people in hospital and 14 in intensive care.
Interior Health has 155 active cases (24 per cent of total).
The new/active cases include:
* 10 new cases in Fraser Health
* Total active cases: 172
* five new cases in Vancouver Coastal Health
* Total active cases: 254
* 13 new cases in Interior Health
* Total active cases: 155
* one new case in Northern Health
* Total active cases: 27
* three new cases in Island Health
* Total active cases: 23
* one new case of a person who resides outside of Canada
* Total active cases: eight
There are no new deaths with the total still at 1,760.
More than 5.8 million COVID vaccine doses have been ejected into arms in B.C. As of July 13, 79.1 per cent (3,668,403) of eligible people 12 and older have received their first dose and 46.0 per cent (2,130,031) have had two doses.
In addition, 80.2 per cent (3,470,198) of all eligible adults have received their first dose and 49.1 per cent (2,125,179) are fully vaccinated.
