Select Mission Creek underpasses reopen

Several Mission Creek Greenway underpasses previously closed due to freshet levels have reopened.

The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) said the rising water levels led to the closure of Lakeshore, Gordon and Casorso Road underpasses last month, but parks staff have assessed each location, made repairs as needed, and reopened the trail accesses for visitors.

Damage assessments are underway along the Greenway from the Peck Road parking area up to the Field Road Saskatoon trail access in Scenic Canyon Regional Park. The RDCO says this section of the trail remains closed as substantial repairs are needed, and reminds visitors to respect all fencing and barricades while the work is done.
