UPDATE: New wildfires in Okanagan

A small wildfire in behind Trader’s Cove in West Kelowna was started by lightning according to BC Wildfire.
The McDougall Creek fire was measured at 1.6 hectares on Tuesday.
And on the other side of the lake, a fire in Myra-Bellevue provincial park by KLO Creek was at 1.5 hectares.
Its cause was listed as unknown, but was under control as of Tuesday night.

The B.C. Wildfire Service is responding to the McDougall Creek wildfire located about five kilometres north of West Kelowna.
As of around 12:00 p.m., the fire was 0.6 hectares in size and is classified as out of control.
Personnel are on scene and a helicopter is supporting.
