Influenza vaccine study looking for participants

A Kelowna-based medical research clinic is seeking people to be part of an influenza vaccine trial.

Okanagan Clinical Trials is conducting a study to further establish the safety and efficacy of an investigational vaccine for seasonal influenza.

In order to collect a robust set of data, the clinic is asking people aged 50 or older participate in the study.

All study-related care may be provided at no cost, and participants are free to leave the study at any time.

Seasonal influenza, commonly known as the flu, is an acute respiratory infection. In some cases, it can lead to hospitalization and death.
