RCMP seeking tips on high-risk offender
Police are hoping the public can help them find a man accused of assault with a weapon and other charges.
Kelowna RCMP say a warrant has been issued for the arrest of 45-year-old Harley David Gillies.
“The warrant stems from an incident of a domestic violence call to the police, where Mr. Gillies is suspected to have assaulted a female, threaten her with a knife and stole her cell phone and keys,” Ryan Watters, RCMP spokesperson, said.
Gillies, who is known to police, is described as caucasian, 6-feet-6 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
He has been designated as a high-risk offender and is currently at large.
The warrant is for assault, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, breach of undertaking and theft under $5000.
