Firecracker, smoke bomb set off at Orchard Park Mall

A large group of teenagers reportedly set off a firecracker or smoke bomb at Orchard Park Mall Saturday.

Kelowna RCMP responded to the call in the mall’s food court shortly after 6 p.m. Feb. 11.

Witnesses told police a large group of teens set off the firecracker or smoke bomb then departed towards the bus loop. When police arrived, they fled the scene.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information on the incident or dashcam footage from the area to contact the Kelowna detachment at 250-762-3300.
