Kelowna Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at a recycling facility on Cambro Road this afternoon.
The first officer on scene reported the Cascades Recovery building was full of smoke with a possible two missing employees.
The response was upgraded to a third alarm.
Both missing employees were located and no injuries were reported.
“The fire is believed to have started on a large conveyor belt consisting of recyclable materials. Fire was quickly extinguished with minor damage,” Captain Chris Zimmerman said.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
