Flights between Calgary and Kelowna delayed due to power outage
Flights between Kelowna and Calgary are being delayed due to an outage at YYC.
In a tweet at 1:07 p.m., the Calgary International Airport said it is “experiencing a temporary power interruption affecting the baggage system,” followed by a tweet at 2:09 p.m,. that said the outage was forcing all flights to be delayed.
Due to a temporary power outage all flights are being delayed. We are asking guests to check with their airline for current flight information. We are working with our teams to investigate the issue and resolve as soon as possible. We thank guests for their patience. https://t.co/5KVbgOPRT2

Kelowna International Airport retweeted YYC at 3:44 p.m. and advises passengers flying to and from Calgary to check their flight status online.
It is not yet known how long the power outage would last or when flights would resume.
