Okanagan golfer among inductees to B.C. Sports Hall of Fame
The B.C. Sports Hall of Fame announced its 2024 induction class on Wednesday, which included five athletes, one of whom lives in the Okanagan.
Richard (Dick) Zokol, a golf and real estate specialist at Predator Ridge Resort in Vernon, took part in over 400 PGA events over 22 years (1982-2003). The Kelowna resident won the 1992 Greater Milwaukee Open. He also played key roles in the development of several B.C. golf courses including Predator Ridge and Sagebrush in Quilchena B.C.
The 2024 induction class being welcomed into the Hall of Champions includes:
