A recent emergency incident at Kelowna International Airport (YLW) is being investigated by the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.
The agency said a privately-operated Pilatus PC-24 aircraft had a loss of control and declared emergency on Friday, Nov. 3.
“The TSB will gather information and assess the occurrence,” a short news release from the board stated.
The agency said a team of investigators will be deployed to the airport.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates air, marine, pipeline, and rail transportation occurrences with a goal of improving safety, and not to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
