Canada Post customers should expect delays in getting their mail and parcels due to the cold weather.
In a service alert covering the B.C. Interior, the Crown agency said on Friday (Jan.12) its employees “will do their best” to get the mail to people, but there may be delays.
In areas of extreme cold like Prince George, Canada Post has suspended deliveries for the safety of its workers.
“Delivery will resume once conditions improve and it’s safe to do so. The safety of our employees is our number one priority,” the mail service stated.
