Site work underway for transitional housing

Crews have begun work to prepare the property at 2470 Hwy 97 North for the Trailside Transitional Housing project.

Prefabricated modular buildings will provide temporary homes for up to 60 individuals who have been previously unhoused.

Construction fencing is in place and groundworks are underway to install the utility services required on site.

The property will be operated by Turning Points Collaborative Society and will open in “early 2024.”
