Two people arrested in possible weapons complaint

Two people were taken into custody following a possible weapons call in Kelowna Friday.
RCMP responded to the call in downtown Kelowna at approximately 2:30 p.m. Feb. 16.
Officers learned the suspect boarded a bus leaving downtown after speaking with witnesses and reviewing video surveillance footage from the area.
Police stopped the bus on Bernard Ave. near Highland Dr. and took two people into custody without incident.
The bus was searched and then released to continue on its route.
Kelowna RCMP said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
