The busy spring break travel period is almost upon us with Kelowna International Airport (YLW) expecting more than 120,000 passengers to travel through the facility from March 13 – 30.
It said passengers should plan in advance and prepare for longer than normal wait times.
YLW will be posting daily anticipated passenger volumes, daily peak travel times and real-time parking lot capacity online via their website ylw.kelowna.ca/traveltips.
Among the best advice for travellers: check-in online, consider alternate transport because of limited parking, arrive at least two hours before travel, and know ahead of time what can be brought through security.
