New courts and fitness areas open at Kelowna’s Glenmore Recreation Park

Several new recreational amenities are now open at Glenmore Recreation Park in Kelowna.

The latest improvements include a grass sports field, tennis and pickleball courts, an outdoor fitness area and a skateboarding spot.

The park has also received new pathways, sports lighting and a water feature.

The project is being completed in phases to accommodate Kelowna’s growing population. More than 400 trees have also been planted, along with restoration work along Brandt’s Creek.

Further improvements, including a splash park, playground, basketball and volleyball courts, are expected to be completed in 2027.

Park washrooms are now closed for the season.
