You know the sandy-blond man in the white gloves and grey trousers that carries around the Stanley Cup? I’m him, except I care for a Jeep Wrangler Sahara, and pants would be way too hot! (by the way, his name is Phil Pritchard)
Having Kelowna’s biggest radio contest prize ever entrusted to me is an honour, and not as glamourous and care-free as I make it seem. No, there’s a considerable amount of effort to make our Free Ride star as presentable as can be!
Just like you would bathe a child who regularly plays outside, the Jeep requires a wash from time to time. However, unlike sending your kid through the soft cloth spin and dry, the automated carwash is far too aggressive for the decals! This is a wand wash Wrangler. Plus, it doesn’t need a deep clean each time, and quick once over suffices.
Occasionally, my friendly contest looky-loos hop inside the Jeep. I encourage it! Sometimes you manifest luck, so if you can ripple the waves of luck by parking your keester in the driver’s seat, have at it! Having said that, walking outside is dirty, and it transfers to automobiles. Enter: The Vacuum. 92% of a car’s relative attraction is interior cleanliness; 39% of drivers know this*. So it’s paramount that the Jeep remains as pristine as possible this summer!
