Christie from Big Brother Season 21 hangs out!
Season 21 of Big Brother is coming down to the wire! Every week someone gets booted from the house and sent to jury, we get to ask them a few questions! Christie was sent packing last week in a double eviction that also saw Jessica head into the jury house! She’s got a lot of thinking to do in there before helping decide who is worthy of the $500,000 cheque! We caught up with Christie just before she walked into the jury house. Let’s hope they have a LOT of kleenex in there in case she gets teary eyed!
__________
Ara: How amazed are you by the opportunity you got to play this game?
Christie: I couldn’t even express my gratitude in words. I still feel like this is a dream because this is a lifelong dream for me. I have watched BB since I was 15-16 yrs old. I will never forget this experience or be able to express my gratitude.
A: It’s really a game of human chess where you can trust people to a certain extent, but if you’re missing any one conversation, it could spell trouble. Which alliance did you feel was doing it right and which went horribly wrong and why?
It’s funny because I don’t even know how many real alliances there were. But I think that Cliff and Nicole have a really good thing going. I don’t know how long they’ve been really working together, but they seem to have a great game relationship. They play a steady solid game and I respect that a lot.
A: Why did Nick have to go when he did and was that a tip of the hat to his gameplay, or just a thorn in your side you needed to have out of the house?
C: Nick had to go for a few reasons. He’s a triple threat – socially, mentally, physically. I looked at him as the biggest mountain to climb to get to the end. He in my eyes was an incredible game player in terms of having an army around him. Nick made everyone feel really special and it made people trust him and want to feel safe and make him feel self.
A: How do you think you and Nick will fare in the jury house together? After that house meeting blow up, will it be a fiery reunion or can y’all let bygones be bygones and just enjoy the rest of the game until it’s time to help crown the champ?
C: I can’t wait to see Nick. I definitely don’t think we will fight. We have a weird love/hate relationship. Nick said week one that if he had to guess, that he and I would fight the most this season and I think that’s because we are so similar. I have no grudges against him and hope he doesn’t have any against me and I look forward to seeing if we can have a relationship outside of the house.
A: Which people are playing a good game in the house so far this season, and what about their game stands out to you most?
C: I honestly think everyone is playing a really good game but in their own individual ways. A couple people that stand out are Nicole because she has been so under the radar for so long, but every week, evictions come down to her vote, which is big. I also think someone like Tommy is playing a good game because he is so loved by everyone and has never really picked a solid side and is winning comps.
A: You and the block were like besties the last 4 weeks. Who do you hope gets a taste of the block next? Your dream two noms this coming week are who, and who?
C: It’s Holly’s time because she has never been on the block before. It’s her time to be shaken up a bit. Part of BB is to be on the block and it’s her time. I’d also like to see Michie on the block. If they don’t get put up soon, I could see them going all the way.
