Planning to travel this winter? Check out the Travel Show

Kelowna International Airport (YLW)’s annual Winter Travel Show will take place on this Saturday (Oct. 19) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Guests will be able to meet with airlines, travel agents, hotels and resorts to get helpful travel tips and information on popular destinations.

“This event is a great way to learn about the many travel destinations from YLW, and win some great prizes,” said Sam Samaddar, Airport Director. “Thanks to our travel partners, we are giving away over $15,000 in prizes, including all-inclusive trips to Mexico, Phoenix, and Las Vegas.”

Tickets for the prize draw can be purchased for $5 each or $10 for 3 tickets and will only be available at the event.

All funds raised will be donated to United Way Southern Interior BC which serves communities across the Okanagan, Columbia, Shuswap and Similkameen.

Free parking is available in the long-term parking lot during the event. Attendees are required to bring in their parking voucher to be validated. The event will also include food and live entertainment.
