Injured biker airlifted to hospital

Central Okanagan Search and Rescue had to call in air support from their Vernon counterparts for an injured mountain biker on Wednesday.

The man had crashed on the trails above West Kelowna and needed to be airlifted out and was taken directly to Kelowna General.

B.C. Ambulance and West Kelowna Fire Rescue were also involved.
