Update: Semi on its side
Update Nov. 19
West Kelowna RCMP say the driver of the semi that flipped last week was issued tickets for multiple fines for violations.

It’s quite the spectacle for passing motorists.
A semi transport truck remains on the side of a road in West Kelowna after it rolled early Thursday morning.
“On November 14 just after 3:45 a.m., West Kelowna RCMP front line officers were on patrol when they witnessed a tractor-trailer travelling on Dobbin Road roll over and collide with a pole,” said Const. Solana Pare of Kelowna RCMP.
“The driver was treated at scene by Emergency Medical Health Services and transported by ambulance to the hospital with minor injuries.”
Pare says the driver was issued fines under the Motor Vehicle Act.
“The investigation into the cause of the incident remains ongoing and we do not have an estimated time of when it will be removed from the roadway.”
Pare has been told crews have been working to unload the trailer, believed to contain grocery store items.
