One person was killed in a four-vehicle crash on the Trans Canada Highway 20 kilometres west of Golden Tuesday afternoon.
Police say two passenger vehicles and two commercial vehicles were involved in the collision that closed the highway for a number of hours, but has since reopened.
“Trans Canada East Traffic Services, BC Ambulance Service, Commercial Vehicle and Safety Enforcement officers, the BC Coroners’ Service and the RCMP Collision Reconstruction Service are investigating this crash. At this time, the cause of the collision is not known, however winter driving conditions are being considered as a possible contributing factor,” said Cpl.
