Wednesday will be the final day to go for a skate at the Stuart Park ice rink in Kelowna.
The outdoor skating season will close on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
“We know just how beloved the Stuart Park rink is, and we try and extend our skating season as long as we can,” said Steve Fagan, Arenas and Stadiums Supervisor. “But with the warmer weather we’ve been having the last few weeks, the ice surface can no longer be maintained.”
The adjacent fire pit will also be turned off until the next skating season.
Dancing in the Park will return to Stuart Park on Wednesday evenings throughout July and August and roller skating enthusiasts can look forward to the return of Retro Roller Night.
