When someone asks Kelowna’s Jacob Rubuliak what he did this summer, he can reply, “Not much… biked up Mount Everest.”
The 17 year-old cyclist set a Canadian record on Sunday, biking up and down Knox Mountain 38 1/2 times, to the equivalence of the elevation of Mount Everest, the world’s tallest mountain!
The journey took him over 9 1/2 hours.
